Buying your first home can be a very exciting time, but it can also be a time of uncertainty. I can provide the experience and guidance to help you with your questions, guide you in the search and make sure your experience is a pleasant one.
First, you will want to get pre-approved for a home loan through a lender. Mortgage lenders will check your credit score, and will usually want copies of W-2s and other financial statements. They will also tell you the price range for the home that you plan to purchase.
Next, contact me to set up an appointment to discuss the type of home you are looking for. We will look at details such as your desired neighborhood, the square foot of the home (GLA) and other criteria that are on your list. As you find properties that meet your criteria, I will schedule a showing that meets your schedule.
When you find a home that you like and are ready to make an offer, I will present your offer to the seller's agent and handle any negotiations. After your offer has been accepted, I will prepare all of the necessary paperwork and obtain signatures. It is at that time you will apply for your loan. Once your loan is approved and other details are finalized, a closing date will be set. You can be assured that I will be right by your side throughout the entire process until the keys to your new home are in your hands!
